2010 Washington WIC Regional Breastfeeding Trainings
This 2-day "Grow and Glow in WIC" is a USDA training designed to provide all WIC staff with the knowledge and skills they need to provide effective breastfeeding promotion and support to WIC clients. Staff are strongly encouraged to attend both days of training

2010 Lactation Management Trainings
The Sunnyside Lactation Management Training will take place June 14-18, 2010 at Sunnyside Community Hospital. This training is for WIC, MSS, and Sunnyside Community Hospital Staff. Registration for this training is now available. Click here to register

Staff In-Service Trainings
Latch onto Breastfeeding is ideal for new staff and those who need a refresher in why WIC promotes breastfeeding and the basics of providing breastfeeding support.

Facilitating Breastfeeding takes a more case-study approach and provides an opportunity for staff to work through breastfeeding issues encountered in the clinic.

At least ten individuals must be scheduled to attend these in-services. MSS staff and other providers are welcome to attend. These in-services may be scheduled now. Please contact Michele Crockett for information.
