Bilingual WIC Clerk/Bilingual WIC Certifier: Columbia Valley Community Health is seeking a Bilingual WIC Clerk/Certifiers for our Wenatchee location. The position will initially start as a WIC Clerk and then advance to a WIC Certifier as training and competencies are achieved. The WIC Clerk’s primary job functions are to provide direct WIC services to applicants/clients by conducting client interviews and assessments to determine eligibility for WIC, provide nutrition and breastfeeding education and complete WIC departmental duties. The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Washington State Driver’s License and a good driving record. Must be willing to be trained on blood hemoglobin testing and complete WA State Registration as a Medical Assistant. One year experience working in an office setting. Previous experience working in WIC or First Steps program preferred, but not required. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. CVCH offers competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
