Foundations in Lactation 2021-22

Updated in 2021 to be more inclusive of the diverse population WIC serves!

Registration is now open for Foundations in Lactation!  This training is perfect for those new to providing breastfeeding support as well as those who want a refresher on how to support breastfeeding families. This training covers staff roles, how to use client centered communication skills when talking about breastfeeding and what factors can affect milk production and exclusive breastfeeding. This training is open to anyone working in the community to support breastfeeding and can be a great way for WIC to work with community partners.
