Sea Mar is is seeking Full-time Nutrition Assistant Certifiers to serve the community in Everett and Lynwood, Snohomish County. The Nutrition Assistant is responsible for WIC participation enrollment, termination, orientation, benefit delivery and maintaining client files. The Nutrition Assistant Certifier identifies and makes nutrition and other health related referrals, performs client risk assessments and provides basic nutrition education in individual and group settings. The Nutrition Assistant also assists with the Nutrition Program clerical support including, but not limited to; completing participant reports, maintaining records and monthly statistic.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid state Driver’s License required
- Access to an insured vehicle
- Experience with the WIC program and/or interest in nutrition is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Russian preferred.
