Each year the Washington Department of Health WIC Nutrition Program develops a plan for providing services in Washington. The WIC State Plan is a requirement for all WIC state agencies from the United States Department of Agriculture. The plan explains how they will use their federal funds to provide healthy foods, nutrition support and education, breastfeeding support, and referrals for other services, to qualified families in Washington. They are currently seeking comments as they plan for next year.
